Clean lint screen, but drying still takes too long?

The screen is only one part of the exhaust path.

01 · BEFORE BOOKING

A simple check.

Keep the lint screen clean and note whether drying times have gradually increased. Do not move a gas dryer or climb onto a roof to inspect an outlet.

02 · UNDERSTAND THE SYMPTOM

What it could mean.

Lint accumulation, crushed ducting or an obstructed outlet can restrict airflow beyond the lint screen. Heating faults may produce similar symptoms.

03 · THE NEXT STEP

When diagnosis helps.

I assess access and the vent route, explain the cleaning scope and check whether the appliance also needs diagnosis. Damaged ducting may require separate work.

This is general guidance, not a diagnosis of your appliance. Follow the owner’s manual for your exact model. Internal electrical, gas and refrigerant work belongs with a qualified professional.
