WASHER · PRACTICAL APPLIANCE GUIDE

Washer will not drain or spin?

A wet load does not automatically mean the motor has failed.

Start with the simple check ↓

01 · BEFORE BOOKING

A simple check.

Check the selected cycle and whether the load is bunched on one side. Note any error code. Do not force open a locked door or remove a filter with water still inside.

02 · UNDERSTAND THE SYMPTOM

What it could mean.

Drain restrictions, pump faults, excess suds and lid or door-lock problems can interrupt the cycle. Water left in the tub may prevent the spin stage.

03 · THE NEXT STEP

When diagnosis helps.

I distinguish a drainage fault from a drive or locking fault, then explain the repair and parts needed for your model.

This is general guidance, not a diagnosis of your appliance. Follow the owner’s manual for your exact model. Internal electrical, gas and refrigerant work belongs with a qualified professional.
