DIAGNOSIS EXPLAINED
Stove & range problems:
what to check.
Two common situations, the possible causes, and how a repair decision is made.
Illustrative scenarios, not completed customer jobs or testimonials. The exact diagnosis depends on your appliance and an inspection.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE 01
One electric burner stays cold
The complaint: One burner will not heat while the others work.
What the diagnosis separates: The element, connection and switch or control are checked for the exact range model. A visible damaged connection changes the repair scope.
A possible next step: Replacing a confirmed failed part and verifying controlled heating is the next step. Do not continue using a burner with arcing or a burning connection.
ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE 02
Gas burner keeps clicking
The complaint: A burner clicks repeatedly or does not ignite reliably.
What the diagnosis separates: Moisture, cap alignment and ignition components are evaluated. If gas is smelled, leave the area and contact the gas utility or emergency service from a safe location.
A possible next step: Cleaning or correct assembly may resolve a simple issue; a confirmed ignition fault may require service. Repeatedly attempting ignition is not a diagnosis.
What to send Leo.
A model-label photo, the error code if shown, when the issue started, and whether it happens every cycle. Do not remove electrical covers or dismantle the appliance to collect this information.
